About Victor Asamoah

Victor grew up together with his younger sister in West Africa and Germany. His mother is German, his father, who has already died, came from Ghana. Until he was 14 years old, he played ambitious basketball and football. He then decided to pursue his favorite sport in the club and then trained in the soccer youth of the KSV Hessen Kassel.

There followed further stations as players, among others with Blau-Weiß 90 Berlin, Hertha BSC II amateurs and Hertha 03. Victors career was accompanied by numerous in some cases serious sports injuries.

In the middle of the 90s, Victor began his coaching career at the SCC Berlin, where in the following years he led numerous professional youth teams and was intermittently active as a youth coordinator.

There followed coach stations in the male area at TUS Makkabi, at the U19 of the SV Babelsberg 03 as well as at Hertha 03 Berlin Zehlendorf. There, Victor and Hendryk Lau led the U18.

In June 2013, Victor signed a two-year contract with FC Ceahlaul in the 1st Romanian League. With the team, which had escaped the descent in the previous season on the last day, table place 8 could be reached. At the end of 2014 the team had become financially troubled so the contract was dissolved by mutual agreement with the association.

Victor has been back in Munich since April 2015.
